Choosing Sides

You might recall that the bookstore borders the park. Also worth noting is that this is still the same day that Pepper visited the store and Kaida isn’t around. So, Seiko has had an eventful day (although not as eventful as Mike had).

I saw Star Trek yesterday. First movie I've seen in a long time. I won't give anything away, but I enjoyed it. I was tickled by the Arthur Conan Doyle quote. (I always did liken Spock to Holmes…)

I hate to do this, but there won't be any pages next week. I'm going to the mountains to train for my job, and I might not have internet access. (I believe we are staying in cabins.) Since I have been pretty good about keeping to my schedule and commenting on other people's comics, I wanted to give you a heads-up before I "vanish." Don't start checking the morgues for me just yet. Pages will resume on the 26th. (I also have a special extra to share in my absence. I hope you enjoy it.)

Warpedwenger: I'd listen to her too. Not because she's sexy but because she's scary.

Tantz: Lol. How true! Meredith would prefer it that way, but that wasn't her assignment. Plus, who says they're done using Mike? ;-)

Peipei: At least he's safe for the time being.

Jonko: I'm not doing it! The bad guys are. ;-) The boys do tend to get it worse than the girls, I'm afraid.

LanceDanger: No indeed.

patrickdevine: If he was still freelancing, Ronnie wouldn't hesitate. He's at least smart enough to know who's calling the shots. (And you're right. It's not a matter of mercy but strategy.) As for Ronnie's aim, he might be a braggart more than anything. Most of his killings were point-blank in-the-back sorts of things.

amanda: What's not to be happy about? He's on the winning team!

trevor: I don't read movie reviews. Ruins movies for me. I have a much better time going to a movie with no expectations at all (even without knowing the cast or plot if I can).

JustNoPoint: Or the start of their great success? XD Meredith does a good job keeping her hooligans in line, but she is sort of Raidon's lap dog (which will be even more apparent in a few pages).

IMAX movies rock! I've only been to educational ones in museums (like the Smithsonian and Carnegie). We don't have any around here.

DAJB: I'm sure she already has the leash and shock collar. XD I think her show would be on one of those… premium channels.
