Meredith isn't taller than Raidon (last panel). I was trying to show and angle and failed. :-/

Meredith and Raidon (and their unnamed deceased comrade) started out as a quick sketch for a flashback. When I decided to involve them in the plot more, I brainstormed their personal and professional relationship. Were they married? Flirtatious? Relatives? In-laws? (Meredith didn't have a last name at the time.) I considered whether they were business partners or heads of separate departments. But, after I fleshed it out, Meredith and Raidon are neither friends nor equals. Sometimes, Raidon has to remind her of that.

The doorknob is designed after the knobs in a house I used to rent with my friends. It's an homage to that old house. We had many good times in that house. Plus some plumbing disasters. And a burglary.

ghostrunner: There are a few in the store.

Tantz: I won't tell her. She wouldn't believe me anyway.

Peipei: The bookstore is pretty secure. It has a top-notch security system.

Jonko: I just don't want filler interrupting the archives. All my extras are posted on DeviantArt.

amanda: Lol. Some of those questions are tricky, but they deceive you by seeming to be simple.

patrick: Seiko has a tendency to become calmer as others are panicking. It's not an uncommon reaction for a medical professional, especially when working with an injury. It doesn't necessarily mean she has a plan or is even calm under the surface. (It's sort of a coping mechanism.)

n_y_japlander: Lol. I won't tell anyone about your score. XD

JustNoPoint: Aw. I thought he was being cute. Jiro just wants to be included. I saw the avatar and thought my friend Gael was reading again! But she usually roleplays Kaida in her comments. XD

I touch up a lot of things digitally. It takes a lot of time and effort for very little effect, but I'm too ashamed of my original drawings to leave them as-is. (On this page, I redrew the bedposts and the door because they were all crooked.)
