I find myself pondering color a lot these days. Some of the pages I initially envisioned in color, but others I just thought "I should shade in either this couch or that wall." Raidon's home is one of many settings that I didn't picture a color scheme for, so I took my cues from the furniture I drew (particularly the sofa and pillows) and decided upon black and white with a bright color accent. (Thank you, HGTV…) In an early trial, I made the couch blue, then purple. Finally, I settled on red, a power color.

Keep in mind that Raidon was not on the top rung of the syndicate ladder. He was supervisor of a small group of assassins. (It has been mentioned a few times.) Raidon likely defended many in his employ, but probably not Fudo. As we have seen from flashbacks, they were bitter rivals from the start.

n_y_japlander: Raidon's just a kind and generous guy. XD

ghostrunner: Nah, he's apologizing. Gloating isn't productive.

DAJB: Yeah, I've tried subtlety in the past, and I like it, but there's a definite art to being obvious enough that it's clear. I've also seen films that I had to watch three or four times to get it.

Peipei: Kaida shared much of Fudo's fate. -_-

Tantz: XD I too chuckle at "memory erasing" in fiction, but I still find myself pondering the possibilities. When I have a migraine, I suffer memory loss. I completely forget certain things, but others are unaffected (I remember numbers, for example, but I forget my parents' names). It's a nuisance but also fascinating to me.

Jonko: Hecate is just protecting her master. She's Raidon's most competent employee. ;)

patrick: There's no magic in this story – despite the self-appointed "wizard." I'm not sure I'd even call it "super science." (I aim for the same technology level as MacGyver, a touch more believable than James Bond.)

amanda: Mercy or strategy? Good help is hard to find. (You've met the new henchmen, right? Not exactly the skilled professionals of yesteryear…)

JustNoPoint: Lol. Good line! He would say something like that under other circumstances – like in the past when he was more of a smart alack.
