It feels like forever since Tristan was on the scene. He actually is my cop-out. Originally, I didn't plan to involve him (Seiko is attempting to keep him uninvolved in everything at this point), but I couldn't figure out how to get those handcuffs off. Tristan was the logical solution. Even Seiko would see things that way. As Mike's neighbor, he has also become like a brother to him, so it was natural to call him in on this. – Oh, and the exchange in panel three is very important too, believe it or not.

Net: I think I'd agree to taking matters into my own hands. Go down fighting. But Fudo is really tired and broken, ready to call it quits.

Jonko: Fudo probably has been expecting (maybe even welcoming) his demise. There have been several times when he "gave up." It's not certain if he's going to fight any of it.
