Book recommendation today (based on this page, of course). Divine Comedy by Dante. I enjoyed it, as far as epic poetry goes. It really has no plot or anything, but it's interesting. You were probably forced to read it in school (or will be) as I was.

When I think of the three UB leads, I associate them with these words: sex, lies, and violence. Guess which one Seiko is. ;-) Ironically, I originally envisioned her defining trait to be honesty. She was to be 100% honest and no one would be able to lie to her. Neither of those things happened. It started with withholding the truth, then stating it in deceptive ways, and finally all-out lies. The exact same progression happened with Raidon's character. (Although he is arguably more honest than Seiko.)

I finished all the character bios! There are quite a few. Heh. Please check them out, and I encourage comments/discussion on favorite (or least favorite) characters there. There are no spoilers.

ghostrunner: Actually, my dad did get dysentery while he was in Nepal – and a few other nasty things, but the dysentery was the worst.

Peipei & Brogan: It's a pretty nasty injury, but at least now, Seiko can dress it.

amanda: It's exactly the right thing to say to be evasive! You're too busy thinking "Awww" to register that he didn't actually answer you. XD

blntmaker: Well, the three ladies are central, but they have many important supporting players. I guess there are about a dozen that would qualify as major characters – though some minor ones are important and will play bigger roles later. (I just completed the character bios.)

JustNoPoint: Heh. Maybe so. XD He finds a way.

DAJB: Heh. Bookmark would be a fun name but more appropriate to one of the hip outlaws who name themselves. Mrs. Thompson most likely had a Christian name. ~_^

Tantz: I'm a hopeless romantic. I'd rather have my heart broken than never know a man's touch.

Warped, dueeast, & roycemarie: Thank you! ^_^

kyopul: Really? In person, I get mistaken for a high school student.
