Kaida's dress was originally going to be more vibrant, but I didn't think it suited her. It is, however, a different one than the black dress she was wearing earlier. (This one is shorter). I stated in an earlier chapter that this restaurant requires a tie, but a typical necktie tie didn't seem to suit Raidon and reminds me of a noose – like a man sentenced to the cubicle gallows… So, I decided one of those string ties would fit the bill. He sorta looks like an oil tycoon. Eh. Blood, oil, what's the difference?

Voting for the DD Awards closes tomorrow. If you haven't sent in a ballot, go do it! More volunteers are needed for judging panels too.

amanda: I had my hair done up for prom, but I had so much hair that it ended up looking like a beehive. o_0

patrickdevine: The problem is with Mike, not the cafe. ;-) That was the scene where it got a name (I just needed an address to call the rescue squad to), but it's seen later as a humble little 24-hour coffee shop.

Warpedwenger: Thanks. ^_^ There were separate noir and mystery categories last year, and I was a finalist in both, but darker and more mysterious comics won. It's an honor to have been a finalist, though.

Jonko: Thanks. This chapter is mostly set in the restaurant. It gets boring drawing people talking around a table. :-/ (But more active plot is on the way!)
