Simple as it is, panel 4 is among my favorites. I couldn't say why really. I think it's because it shows how much confidence I've gained, freehand drawing hands now with no references – and no erasing!

I just finished scripting the current story arc! It's one of my most ambitious projects to date. The script goes to page 840 or so, and some of the scenes made me feel like a literary genius. XD – Now I just have to draw it. Heh.

I'm surprised to be nominated for two DD awards, one for Used Books, and one for, um, me. The other finalists in the "Mystery/Crime" (or "mystery/noir?") category are amazing, and it is an honor to see my comic title among them. Anyway, thanks for that esteem boost. (I've been a bit depressed by the severe drop in pageviews I've seen over the last few weeks.) I'll see about making you guys something special to show my appreciation.

amanda: Kaida mentioned once before her intentions to give Seiko the store. It's hard to say what Seiko wants, though. (And thanks!)

Jonko: Yay! I'm so happy you said that. I take a lot of pride in my dialogue. I write my story in scripts (like a play), and the dialogue is always the foundation. ^_^
