Super simple page today. I wanted to use the large panel to emphasize the significance of Kaida's monologue. She has broken down one or two times before but never so openly. – My friend Gael does not like this side of Kaida. Throughout this arc, she keeps telling me, "Kaida needs to stop acting weird and get back to kicking ass." Sorry, Gael. Blame Raidon.

ghostrunner: The only thing I worry about during dinner is the calories.

Peipei: Kaida has been known to be VERY afraid of jail, and that's what Raidon thinks too – but at the moment, she feels more is at stake.

Tantz: The "bonus" picture wasn't drawn in "UB style" but more like my normal, non-comic style. The style I developed for Used Books started out as manga-ish and then evolved into a comfortable compromise. (I like simplified features for comics because it is easier to show emotions/expressions.)

DAJB: Yeah, it doesn't usually bother me. It bothers me that it bothers me. Heh.

Jonko: Being stoic sucks. Kaida bottles up emotions to release violently in tears or bullets.

patrick: He and Kaida are apparently not on the same page. Raidon's not trying to see her views. He's just trying to get her on his side.

Warpedwenger: Thanks. It's my cop-out method for avoiding drawing the same "head" panels multiple times.

blntmaker: Definitely not me. (You don't recognize Seiko?) I'm much larger than she is, and I never show my knees!

amanda: Maybe it has subconscious meaning… I do include clocks in the story frequently for the sake of setting and alibis.
