I have realized that one contributing factor to my artistic growth is costume changes. When my characters don new outfits, I am forced to do many things. For one thing, I have to deliberately consider body types. How are they built, and how would clothing fit them that is loose and tight in different places and exposes different parts of their skin? I also have to think of color schemes. What colors would the characters wear and how do those colors look? Finally, it provides a test of character design. How much of a character can I change and still have them be recognizable? (I have a lot of fun with this last question in regards to Fudo.)

I just noticed The Rose Killer got a feature today. It's been on my faves list, and I predict it will be winning the DD Award for best noir this year. (I voted for it, and I have great taste!) It was definitely due for a feature, so check it out.

Peipei: She's not the independent stoic she pretends, so you might be right that she wouldn't get along without her friends.

Ryuthehedgewolf: :-(

JustNoPoint: "Don't you worry about Planet Express. Let me worry about blank." Heh. Yeah, these are relationships built on silence, which seem to work, but it's a very fragile design. Uncertainty is more self-destructive than ugly truth.

Tantz: He might get the point (or not), but he's redirecting the conversation to *his* point.

Jonko: Funny you should mention that. It's a running joke among my friends that Kaida (who was based on Gael) was given a gentle side because if I used Gael's personality unchanged, Kaida wouldn't be a believable character.

amanda: I saw the movie a long time ago, never seen it on stage. You might be onto something. XD

kyupol: Very true. -_-

patrickdevine: It's true. Raidon is really not connected much to real people on their level, but he has a long history of manipulating them. He probably doesn't think he's arrogant at all. He's used to getting his way.

Anubis: It also depends on who is saying it. If someone else said the same words, they would have an entirely different tone.

roycemarie: I agree! Might want a dog too, to ward off unwanted suitors – although cats can ward off suitors with allergies.
