Extra: Timeline

Here's a surprise Wednesday bonus thingy! A spoiler-free timeline. The reason for this will be more apparent tomorrow. It suddenly occurred to me that not everyone has a little UB timeline stapled to the inside of their skulls, and it helps to put things in context.

When I started writing UB, it didn't have a distinct setting, but I came to accept it as "current day." However, that was late 2006, and so, UB has fallen slightly behind real life.

When I finished, I thought it looked a little bare, so I threw in a sketch I drew about two years ago. (You can view a colored version here.)

Peipei: That's a good question. He has actually been in the story before. We'll find out his identity soon enough.

patrickdevine: This is a key element of Seiko's personality. She thinks she can pull of stunts like in movies or stories without considering real complications and consequences. That's why she fumbles a lot (like on the mystery cruise). – Unfortunately, she has so much confidence that others follow blindly.

Warped: I got the entire series as a graduation gift. ^_^ I also have the movies and a very short-running remake-off-shoot series from the 90's.

kyupol: Just to clarify, if it says "Project Wonderful" under it, it is a paid advertiser whom I don't necessary agree or disagree with. As a rule, I don't usually place "cause" banners on my website. I do have some causes I support vigorously, but webcomics are not the place I choose to air my political/religious views. (I didn't see the ad to which you referred, so I can't comment on it.)
