Panel 4 originally had a sound effect. I decided it was unnecessary and distracting (leading the eyes away from the dialogue).

I had another job interview yesterday. (I can't believe it!) I've been having luck landing interviews lately. I hope one of these leads to a job. Each of my active applications are in a different state. It's exciting and nerve-wracking not knowing anything yet.

LanceDanger: Thanks!

DAJB: True, but in an RPG, you can be alive at the end. Not so for real life. ;-)

ghostrunner: Heh. I would probably just exercise more and avoid horrible fads – like stirrup pants.

Peipei: I won't divulge story plot. It will reveal itself in no time. ~_^ Also, I like playing for different scenarios too. Those are the best games!

amanda: Thanks. That panel was my first try at revamping how I draw faces, so I put extra effort into it. ^_^ That accident was just over nine years ago. (I'm still kinda nervous in cars. Heh.)

patrick: I'm glad you picked up on those things. :) I did put some time into pondering accessories for this scene. I nearly left the glasses off one or both parties, but they help define the characters. Neither Seiko nor her father would be caught dead without them. … … XD

JustNoPoint: So you're unfamiliar with afterlife procedures? *Clears throat and pushes up nerd glasses.* When one dies, he doesn't immediately enter Afterlife City. He is met at the front gate or in the foyer by a guide to break the news of his passing and ease him into the new existence. Since they were the ones to ease him into his previous existence, one's parents are most suited to this task, but a friend, relative, or Jedi master can also provide this service. Should a former loved one not be available, a new citizen will be assigned a celebrity guide such as Isaac Newton, Moses, or Billy Mays.
