I wanted to populate this place with something flying and something hoofed. I decided that butterflies have a more ethereal feel to them than birds. I am somewhat fascinated by the insects. They used to follow me around at work in the park. As for the deer, I was inspired by the ones that I saw grazing around our nativity scene back when I was working on this page. They are quite majestic for overpopulated, garden-destroying pests.

I officially accepted a job working at the same park where I worked last summer. I start (or restart, heh) Wednesday. It'll be nice to have an income again – while I continue looking for something more permanent.

blntmaker: Perhaps not spiritual as much as philosophical. ~_^ UB has touched on religion before – at least in a down-to-earth way. Thanks for the well-wishes!
