This scene/sequence has been abbreviated some. In the original script, Seiko went on to say (ignoring Tristan's comment about books) "My mom was a spy." However, I decided that it deviates from necessary plot for this arc, and it deserves some delving into in terms of flashbacks unrelated to Conrad's tale. We'll have to save that for some other time.

In other news, Gelotology was featured yesterday! 0_o I was so stunned I nearly forgot to take my pain medicine. ^_^; I was still in considerable pain yesterday, but I feel surprisingly much better today. It might finally be over! (I've been in agony from a kidney stone for abut a week. :P) I'm going back to work today. :-D

Jonko: Yeah, it was actually a hip wader, which is a boot that goes up to your hip and hooks to your belt (for swamps and deep water).
