Finally tying into some old plot. If you recall, Conrad's appearance in the story coincided with a few sad events. For those without great memories or who are new-ish to UB, Violet is Kaida's twin sister, and Tucker Nash was Seiko's adoptive father.

If you do wish to include UB, you can mark it in Mystery/Noir. Other possibly applicable categories include Best Dialogue, Best Writing, Most Improved Art, Best Protagonist, and Best Antagonist. (Support the antagonists! They've been working really hard over this last year!)

amanda: Unfortunately, we won't be getting too far into his past yet, but this is an appetizer. ;)

Lonnehart: Resemblance to certain characters was deliberate (specifically the purple eyes, body type, and the widow's peak), but I'm afraid many of my non-related characters look similar by accident as well. Heh.

ghostrunner: I hate that guy. He's leaves his porch light on at night and always blocks my driveway.

Canuovea: Well, his lineage is "revealed" now. ;) If you were right, I'm glad you were able to figure it out. A bunch of clues were carefully planted. Heh.

Jonko: Thanks. :) I'm back to a regular work schedule. Aside from a short break for a convention, I should be working regularly until September (when the season ends, and I'm back to being emo unemployed Vickie :P ).
