Still tweaking bruises. They look okay here but better on some upcoming pages. I'm sure I'll get them how I like them just in time for the characters to heal up. (Not that they won't get bruised again someday.) In panel two, I felt it was bare, so I did what I usually do in these cases, I added an animal for atmosphere. ;) This kitty's design is based on one of my cats, Tristan.

patrickdevine: Heh. Conrad is quite the eccentric. The swan was an arbitrary choice. I wanted to make a Greek god or something instead, but I was lazy.

ghostrunner: Yeah, but statues of pigeons (and their kin) are a little too ironic.

DAJB: That's how Conrad got so old. These youngsters could learn a few things from him.
