The draft of this page had Tristan rolling up his sleeve in the last panel, but when I started on the final version, I opted for a wardrobe change. I figured that sneaking out of the hospital, Tristan would probably be in his undershirt, and that necessitated the tourniquet. I kinda liked the sleeve rolling better, but this looks okay. At least I didn't stick him in a paper gown. (I considered it, but someone might have stopped him if he was trying to leave like that.)

Btw, I did want to have more of a pause to suggest time passing after Seiko's arrival, but I couldn't work in the time dilation. Obviously, there has been enough time for a doctor to see him and for him to pull a little heist. In this way, it seems like Seiko was followed, but in fact, Tristan found his own way here (which is why Mike is freaking out).

Peipei: That's old school surgery for you. Definitely worse for the patient than the "doctor."

Tantz: Since I color with a light touch, I was concerned the paleness wouldn't be apparent. I'm glad it is.

JNP: Thanks tons! You put a heck of a lot of work into this. You are one extreme guy. XD I'm definitely touched to be nominated, especially since I don't do much promotion and UB is not featured or top 100 or anything (just long). I do have wonderful readers – including you when you have time. I am anxious to see The Devon Legacy return too. You gotta be missing the readers and comments. (Maybe they are out of your system now, but we'll get you hooked again!)

amanda: Well, not followed but the determined outlaw managed to get here. Also, I'm glad you like how Celes looks. ^_^ She is supposed the be a pretty lady.

Lonnehart: He's not someone we like to think of as weak or mortal.
