This is another one of those scenes that got condensed. I really wanted to capture Raidon's attitude and emotional state with a deep "heart-to-heart" with Tim, but there's a lot I had to get through in this chapter, so I managed to cut this exchange to the bare essentials. In a way, I like to make things as concise as possible. I think I succeeded in getting everything across I intended to, and I hope it isn't too subtle to make the important inferences.

Warpedwenger: But what about bad guys with needles?

Peipei: So true, and they fall faster when they don't acknowledge their need for a rest.

Tantz: Now that's a fine idea! Too bad he didn't bring some ether or something. That could stop his overexertion even faster!

DAJB: No! I don't wanna!

amanda: Aw. Too bad. Jess was really fun last year. Guess she's too good for us. :P I don't have a booth babe either! ;_; Well, there is Keith… (Btw, I'm staying an extra day this year. ^_^)
