It's not necessarily easy to determine the height of an assailant solely based on the wound because one can't assume to know the circumstances under which it was inflicted. I didn't want to include all the technical stuff in my story, but we can assume Brad's conclusion is based on other evidence from the crime scene or from witnesses – or he's making stuff up to bait Seiko again.

In panel 3, Brad's line originally was to start with "I believe you likely inflicted the superficial wound on the arm, but the fatal blow was dealt by…" I second-guessed myself about abridging the line. The original would show Brad's skills to read the situation so accurately. However, he's also the type who never states everything he knows, so either way is in character.

DAJB: Seiko's track record of lying might have something to do with it.

Peipei: Nope, she was present when Ronnie received his fatal wound. She's just lying about who inflicted it. (And Brad was baiting her by not specifying the weapon.)

LanceDanger: Technically, it should say "Yuki." I'm sure she'll alter it later. XD

Jonko: The original line was going to be longer and about how Seiko makes up ridiculous stories all the time and should at least have the facts straight. Of course, she also picks up on the weapon mentioned because she collects weapons and knows them well.

amanda: Yes, the initial shock passes quickly. Seiko brought good humor to the birthday party!
