I nearly forgot about Brad's leg cast. Whoops! Still needs a little time to heal. It feels like he's had it forever, but it has been only a few weeks in comic time. Character heights are tripping me up again. Yuki's mom is close to her height. Brad is an inch or two shorter, and Dirk is taller than Yuki (maybe an inch shorter than Tristan but much bulkier).

ghostrunner: That's because she got "girly." ~_^

JNP: It's okay if people don't remember or connect the dots. The truth is, he doesn't make a habit of talking to "baddies" and only did so last time due to extreme circumstances. We won't see him doing so for a long time. (Don't worry; another relative will drive home the sinister nature of Yuki's family…) This chapter is placed where it needs to be for other reasons too. ^_^

Tantz: He is generally competitive and confrontational. XD Wants everyone to be "real men" (including his daughter).
