I was planning on taking a week off to recuperate from my vacation, but I got home earlier than expected, and I'm excited to share these pages. (Plus I don't need to give myself an excuse to slack off.) Visiting my friends put me in the UB mood.

Anyway, enjoy the new chapter. Mike, as you can see, has had a minor make-over. My friend Gael thinks he's looking generally Fudo-ish, but I suppose that's appropriate. You might also recognize Dr. Shalon, seeing to the mental and emotional health of our intrepid cast. I didn't originally intend her to become recurring, but characters do have a way of sticking around. ;)

DAJB: Thanks. I was feeling out of the flow for a while, but I think I've gotten back in to my writing mode. The dialogue is finally coming easier again.

Anubis: One should never bet AGAINST oneself – unless she plans to throw the match.
