Again, I had to do a few rewrites to get all the points to flow somewhat naturally here. I had a whole pile of lines to fit in, but somehow, making it two panels helped it work better. Go figure. A couple more cameos here because it helps me fill in backgrounds (and some comics are long overdue for a nod). These come from Cricket’s Creature, which is/was a fun and inventive, previously featured, steampunk comic (sadly MIA for some time, but Patrick has been working on other projects). I had to modernize/normalize the outfits a tiny bit, but I think they’d fit into this neighborhood.

Anubis: We are cynical; aren't we? XD

Peipei: Such a shame that friendly people cause suspicion. (Not saying that shouldn't, but it's still a shame.)

DAJB: But I like smoothies – especially strawberry ones.
