I know it can be hard to follow along and remember things in a webcomic format, so I'll be the friendly remind-you-of-stuff fairy. This flashback scene would be placed sometime before the long Fudo-execution story arc, and it provides some back-story to their involvement.

I didn't originally intend on including Hecate, but oddly she vanishes from scenes I picture her in and appears in ones I don't. (Which is what Tristan does too – although Hecate's presence influences the story less.)

JustNoPoint: Google abandoned skyscrapers in Detroit. They are creepy, just like the big black dead buildings in SimCity.

Andre61: Heh. I kinda failed at drawing their little holding on balancing act. ^_^;

Tantz: Indeed he is. – Either that or his good and bad luck are in perfect balance with his dexterity and clumsiness.

LanceDanger: Stories thrive on conflict, otherwise they'd be boring like real life. :P (Not that things go right most of the time in real life either, but the causes of failure are far less interesting.)

patrickdevine: I do that with soda cans. I'll always pick up and empty one and try to get another drop out of it. I'm not sure I've ever heard of a jumper called an "optimist" before. XD Maybe there's hope for him!
