I put a lot of effort into this monologue. I don't usually opt for anything this wordy, but it seemed proper for this situation. It was even more challenging to fit it into a page, but I am satisfied with how it all worked out. Side note: The tag in the first panel reading "Crispy" is a nod to my family. My brother calls our sister "Crispy" (a corruption of "Chrissy") and her husband thought it was hilarious. The colors, royal blue and pink, were used in her wedding.

JustNoPoint: I think Tristan might be pointing out that things aren't so simple. That there were other people involved and on the line. – Or maybe he didn't intend anything at all. He was just reacting to the conversation.
