This conversation went through a bunch of rewrites and was originally quite a bit longer – but that happens a lot with this story. (I feel like I make the same comments over and over again…) The last page was longer too. It's kinda hard to trim Eric's speeches for pacing. I think I managed to keep the spirit of it, though.

There's one page left in this chapter! I'm sure you guys aren't as excited as I am. (Because I know what's in the future. ;) )

Anubis: Definitely.

JustNoPoint: And you know he's had his share of non-dates. XD

Tantz: Eric is an ambassador for the upper class. He might still be somewhat naive to the struggles of the less fortunate, but he makes an effort.

DAJB: I can't speak for all of womandom, but if someone were to give me a useless (albeit lovely and thoughtful) gift such as flowers, jewelry, or a card, I'd rather they put more thought into it than money.
