This is the end of the scene and of the first half of the chapter. It was added as an afterthought, to be honest. I needed the chapter to lead into an upcoming arc, but the content I had was not enough for a full chapter and not fitting to tack onto the previous or next chapters. This scene might not be essential to the story, but I like it anyway. It adds foreshadowing and irony, two of my favorite things!

Tantz: So true. Raidon is surrounded on all sides by people he can't trust and who don't like him. Hecate could be a poster child for loyal dogs.
