I like how this page turned out, especially the first panel. I think this is my favorite picture of Kaida (aside from fan art ;-) ). In the original drawing, I messed up the jaw lines (I'm very bad at profiles), so I redrew them digitally.

This is the final page of the chapter, and, as before, I will be taking a short break (about a week) before starting the next one.  The timing for this is great because I'll be spending this weekend at the Ohio Renaissance Festival with my whole awesome family and our best friends and honorary family Gael and Bethany (the inspiration for Used Books). I've never been to a Ren Fair before, but the girls have gone a few times. – I'm also helping out with the DD Awards, so the brief break is very welome and needed.

Anyway, UB will resume in a week or a week and a half, depending on how things go. I'll see you then, refreshed and ready to go with The Masquerade Part II.

One final note today, the DD Awards are having tie breakers to fill some finalist spots, so make sure you send in your votes. (Used Books is in the running to be in the running for the dialogue category.)
