Sorry for the dialogue overload. I changed these pages drastically for mood, clarity, and pacing. My main concern was making things natural. My original script did not have Carl pegged as a bad guy at this point, but when I thought about what train of thought Seiko would have, it just made sense.

(I had to cut some fun dialogue – including Tara's sarcastic but correct assumptions about Yuki's attire.)
