Extra: Behind the Scenes 2

We’re doing “behind the scenes” this week while I work on a few things. I promise I’m not slacking! I’m working on the next chapter/story.

This is another 2010 drawing. I had a few other costume ideas before I settled on these. One of the original plans for Yuki was a bunny costume. I ended up putting that on a different party guest. ^_^ The idea of "Super Yuki," I believe was my sister's suggestion. Considering Yuki's way of branding things with "Y's" and her cheerful confidence, it seemed perfect.

Seiko's costume is designed after my favorite one as a child. I dressed as a bee from kindergarten to 3rd grade, when I finally grew out of it and started dressing in Mom's labcoat instead. It had neat leggings and arm warmers.
