I had only a vague idea for this plotline when I started. I knew there had to be Eric and Seiko but after that, I had no ideas. My sister helped me work out the inclusion of Conrad and Violet – which also led to including Violet in the Masquerade Ball. (I wanted to do to that begin with but didn't know how.) Christine (my sister) has helped with "set designs" and "costumes" before.

Peipei: I work in a state park, so I get to help people connect with nature. :) Unfortunately, those types of places are the first to lose their funding. The park was almost closed a couple years ago because of a budget cut.
