This part had a few rewrites. I finally got it to where the mood was right and it accomplished what I wanted it to. Then I had a helpful conversation with Tantz Aerine about the pacing and presentation on the next couple pages. Reshuffling of lines meant I had to make another new draft of this page, and I had room to expand the dialogue and fit in more panels. (Actually, I might have gotten carried away. It turned out rather wordy.) One of my favorite additions is Fudo's angry reaction and Kaida calling him stupid. ;)

For those who need a refresher, Jerry was introduced on page 9 and met his end on page 279. He was UB's first villain.

Peipei: XD There was some amount of loss of innocence going on.

roycemarie: It's okay to hate Fudo. He's had a heck of a rocky character development (and is still a crazy unpredictable serial killer). – It's okay to like him too. Or you can do both, like Kaida does. ;)
