This is the last page of the chapter. I did my best to fit in all necessary dialogue. This is much different than my original script. I originally planned for Kaida to have only a brief line or two following Valentine's exit, and the last page was the police and paramedics on scene. I decided to cut that. (I'm conflicted about it because I do like Tara, and Valentine is her number one case/mission at the moment.) In that script, Kaida mentions that she wishes she has shot Valentine in the head, and Tara says she thinks she'd have been justified. (Tara is a spiteful, stubborn person you don't want to get on the wrong side of.) It was a good exchange, but I have to lose things like that in rewrites.

plymayer: True. Maybe if she didn't have to worry about roommate, she could have held him for the police (or laid him out flat).

Anubis: So it does. Looks like getting shot at is a routine he's familiar with. :P

Peipei: Lol. She has Kaida, but apparently she's less of a bodyguard and more of a trouble magnet.
