Panel four started as a punch in the gut, but I couldn’t get it framed right (it also was supposed to show Val’s grin, but that didn’t work), so it ended up as more of a grab. I’m afraid the action is not terribly clear. But at least the fight is pretty much over.

An added note. I looked up both monologuing and egomaniacal to find out if they were real words and if so, how to spell them. They are, but my computer’s spellcheck disagrees. I would have used them anyway. I exercise my right to make up words from time to time, but I like to spell them correctly.

Anubis: We're headed to an end game of some sort anyway.
