I might have taken some inspiration for Isabelle's rant from my sister. She likes to rant about things like this. In fact, when I was discussing my script with her, she launched into a similar rant. I also might have unconsciously imported some of my sister's appearance into young Isabelle. (Older Isabelle is an established character and didn't start out looking much like my sis, but I haven't drawn her in years.)
