Legacy Part 1

I'm not going to get into how annoying and tedious the art for the first panel was nor how unhappy I am with the result. I am, but such runs the course of a webcomic for a nonartist.

Since we've been having a jaunt in the past (while I stall for writing time), I figured I'd use the notes section to refresh you on the “present day” story, so you don't get time-travel whiplash or have to dive into the archives. Following a close call where Fudo nearly succumbed to a hard winter freeze in his inadequate shelter, Kaida brought him to the city for temporary refuge. He is staying with Toyo and Celes while Kaida and Mike play handy-persons in the forest to prevent a repeat crisis. Meanwhile, serial killer Valentine has had an active presence in the city, so Kaida instructed Seiko to keep the store closed and spend as little time as possible alone.

Several of Seiko's close friends are members of the anti-syndicate task force, which brings us here. Members we've met include: Conrad, Violet, and Tristan Verona; Ashley (formerly Kylie) and Sean Barnes; Tucker and Isabelle Nash; and tech savvy Ginny.
