I made so much progress this week, I stayed up late last night to finish it rather than wait until next Monday. Misaki is/was not one of the really smart characters, and that's okay. One reason I wanted to write this backstory was to give due credit to Seiko's father (not a character mentioned much because none of the "bad guys" knew him) and also to show how Misaki trusted her friends. She was a trusting and loving person. I think character assets can be character flaws. I believe all traits are both. Seiko has traits, for better or worse, from both parents.
