So apparently before I begin I am meant to mention 2 things. 
  
a) Pete has apparently 'fixed' the first page, which is to say he decided to amend the digital font.
  
b) Due to page restraints, you are stuck with this little ditty for a week, not five days.
   
I quite like this piece. Which is odd, because with prose I can be as perfectionist as my artist buddy. At the very least I have been trying to write prose more since the new year, which is cropping up quite well in pieces that aren't anything to do with much besides my own joy and my ability to test my artist legs. While my PhD and Science seems to be constantly taking most of my time, and I am trying to do other things like socialise and gym, it is very difficult to balance everything.
   
So I hope you enjoy this piece. If anything I have reconnected with two things I learned from my english teacher in high school - that things always sound better as three, and that I have always loved how mellifluous alliteration sounds. I also hope you enjoy the insight and the bittersweet history to The Woman of this piece.

Yeah, that digital lettering was totally lame. Cold and lifeless. It looks much better now. :)
