It took me a while to get the script for this page right. I felt it
was quite a stripped back page for Belle, and an important page because
we so rarely get to see the perceptions of Dominique from outside
characters. I wanted Belle’s monologue to be perfect, and it took me a
while to get it sounding right and the panel contents equally sounding
like they’d match.
