It’s been a fun change of pace with Belle behind the monologue. I’ve
enjoyed writing it and Pete’s enjoyed drawing it. After coming back
after such a long hiatus, it’s been refreshing. I have a soft spot for
Belle and I’ve enjoyed giving her a bit more of the spotlight. I think
it’s also added an extra dimension to the comic.
Though this isn’t the end of Chapter 5, and I am sure we’ll be
getting a bit more grit as Dominique returns to the helm, it is a great
spot for Pete and I to have a small holiday. I’ve told Pete to take a
bit off to help him get a few pages under his belt for the new year, and
instead to draw some Valentine’s Dei Pin-Ups. I do love the holiday
stuff he’s done in the past, so I’m keen to see what he comes up with.
To all our readers, I hope you have a safe and wonderful holiday
period, and enjoy time off, family and good food, company and
celebrations. We’re looking forward to getting back into the swing of
things in the new year and we’re glad to see readers returning since
we’ve brought the comic out of hiatus.
Thanks for a great 2014 guys, hope you’re as excited as we are to see where the rabbit hole goes with Valentine’s Dei next year
