Ion and Element are Alterians. Their innate nature is somewhat similar to identical twins. They are both telekinetic. Both are also invulnerable to any dangerous chemicals and other identified elements.

Their distinction: Ion can increase or decrease the atomic power of any molecular substance; Element can change and shapeshift into the nature of any known elements and she can make a living replica of these elemental compounds.

Both are now Active Other-Kinds.
