Blarg! What a terrible week for drawing this was. College is a cruel mistress indeed.

Anywho, as hinted earlier, here's the start of Vic's obligatory backstory (though, not all of it; I'll probably go into his earlier life later this year. Maybe.) If it seems a bit abrupt at the beginning, it's because I abandoned the lead-in page. It was boring and was pretty much summed up in the first panel of today's page. Sorry about all the stick people. The chase scence will be a lot more involved and I suppose I'm subconsciously compensating for it here…

Other than that: Moderately well-spoken Irish ruffians! Who knew! I'm so lazy. The two I bothered to actually draw don't even get names in this arc. I've taken to calling them Mugsy and Bugsy in my head. You know, since apparently they're 1920s Chicago gangsters who somehow stumbled into 1873 Dublin.
