Three comments today:
Cue the dramatic music. When a baddie's presence can change the lighting of the room, that's definitely a sign that they are Serious Business.
Author's comments-wise, I'm trying to get as many of the factions' story arcs up in the air as I can, (hence all the jumping around of the setting), in order to cement my plotlines, and keep you guys up-to-speed on each of the rapidly fracturing factions. Hopefully preventing a chain of "A NEW CHALLENGER APPROACHES" moments in the future once these storylines converge again.
And yes, If you were (hell, if you weren't) I am a victim of a chronic Knight in Shining Armor complex as well.
