Flyff is ruled by elements (fire, earth, wind, water, electricity), each mob has an element asigned to it and is quite strong or weak agains other elements. Mages are the only ones who have attacks for each element class. But new players pick only one of the elements skills, under advise from other players they reply they are mages of that particular element instead of taking advantage of the weaknes of the elements.
