WTF on "Dead Man's Chest"

I went to see this movie at midnight thinking this would be probably one of the coolest movies I would have seen since Episode III. And when I exited this 3 hour movie I was dissapointed, confused and pissed off from a cliffhanger. This movie took off from where the first one left off. Will and the girl is about to be married but then they are arrested for helping Sparrow. The main guy in charge send Will to go retrieve this compass Jack has in his possession. And well let's just say from there the movie goes nowhere. There is a random segment with Jack in some african society of savages that think of him as a god and want to eat him. They manage to escape and then turns out Jack owes his soul to the squid-lobster-man Davy Jones (why he is a squid-lobster-man we will never know). Then Will meets his father who is a giant pile of barnicles because Davy Jones has the power to turn you into a pile of barnicles. Not to mention there is like three subplots going on and they jump from story to story so fast that you can't absorb any of it. And the legendary Kraken (Japanese legend that is) is the pet to squid-lobster-man Davy Jones (why he can control the Kraken nobody knows). If you go to see this movie and expect something as good as the first you will be dissapointed. Not only that but if you go to see this movie just because you like action you will be confused.
