By the way, this character that shows up so suddenly is Fynn and he's hoodies bestest best best buddy evar! No he hasn't really been standing there this entire time, more like within the last few moments, he's a very… Eccentric person who'll pretty much be coming and going in this comic whenever he pleases.  I like whenever hoodie thinks his day won't be so shitty, something kinda shitty happens, like getting a second concussion or having a friend that doesn't care about your possible arrest.
