What Damien actually getting hit? That's right people, he isn't invulnerable, just friggin' powerful.

Any way, that was right into the chest, so if he was struck through the heart, he's almost done for. A heartwound is the most lethal thing to happen to a demon in this world. They could get their heads chopped off and they'd be fine for a few weeks until they starved form the lack of blood or the excessive bleeding, whichever came first.

But, like in many myths, the heart is the very core of a demon. Without it, they are doomed. In this comic, they could last for about 20 minutes and then they'd be dead. The sun actually takes two hours.
