Okay, so last week I talked about possibly starting my own publishing company, so over the weekend I looked into it. It does not look like it'll be happening with my current resources. Hell, I need a few thousand dollars I don't have just to get a few comics into some stores. I could try comixpress or Lulu or places like that, but in the end it just ends up being me losing money for the first year and I'm sure I won't be able to get any investors.

So, scrapping that idea, I'm considering what to do for next year's comicbook challenge. I'm thinking more on something different, and yet old. Like Jack Kirby's Fourth World or Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns. A little old and a little new at the same time, except with an original character. I have an idea if I ever wrote for DC or Marvel, but in a webcomic it would seem overdone.

That's always a problem with webcomics. If you're trying to be original, you can only do so much without ripping someone off. I have all these comic plots in my head, but most of them are just too similar to other webcomics for my liking, even if most people couldn't tell much of a difference. Oh well, I'll come up with something eventually
