We all know what happens to vampires when they meet the sun, right?

So I've been experimenting with my story telling lately. I recently took a new comic I was developing and made it run three ways. The first being this tragedy where nothing but bad stuff happens to the good guys until the end where they finally win. The second was a more traditional superhero thing where it's just an endless cycle.

And then came the third which I liked a hell of a lot more than the other two. It actually went beyond the superhero genre accidentally and became more like a war comic. Think the No Man's Land story arc of Batman, except under a dome like in The Simpsons Movie. Also, more bloodshed and cannibalism.

Now this might make people think that this is my favourite genre to write for. Apocalyptic war zones just bursting with death. That is not the case. While I will admit it's fun for me to write about humanity adapting to its environment and stepping above the enemies, I actually prefer to write about futuristic societies protected by female protagonists. Don't know why it's always girls, but it is. They just seem to work.
