DD Bonus Strip #4: Career Moves

Yes, it is true that, on November 2nd, for the second and possibly last time, Berkely Breathed Breathed and his beloved penguin Opus will be departing the nation's comics pages. Breathed probably won't end up flipping burgers, however, as he does have a successful second career going as an author and illustrator of children's books, the latest of which came out just this past week.
Though this probably does signal the end of Breathed's career as a syndicated "stripper" (a term he coined for comic strip artists in "Bloom County"), I won't be able to miss him too much, as I own all of his cartoon collections and the three kid's books he did with Opus.
Speaking of books, I think now would be a great time for some publisher to do a "Complete Breathed" set of high quality hardcovers, reprinting all four of his strips from his college strip "The Academia Waltz" to the November 2, 2008 finale of "Opus". I certainly would buy it.
