This week's strip gives me the chance to talk about an aspect of the strip that I am bizarrely proud of.
Have you ever been watching a TV show or movie and a character will reference an episode of an older TV, but you know, having seen every episode of that show, that no such episode exists? Well, for some reason, that's always bugged me. That's why, when I make a reference to an episode of Gilligan's Island, or Star Trek or St. Elsewhere (a show I absolutely loved–I even like the controversial final episode), you can go to the DVD set (if one exists; I believe only the 1st season of St. Elsewhere is available) and find that episode.
