Geo going to the casino is a bit of an in-joke. My friend Ed, who inspired Geo, doesn't like the Sonic games. But there's one thing he does like, and that's the Casino Night Zone music. He's even made his own lyrics for it. So in the comic, I've made him obsessed with the Casino Night Zone.
The comic title refers to the fact that I've changed the plot a bit. Originally, Final just turned up on Angel Island to turn Super, and Knuckles let him. But this is a bit unlikely, so retcon powers, go! (And I'm aware that you can't go super with that emerald. It's a plot point.)
